What is your name and what city do you rep? My Name is Wavy Money Records & I’m repping NYC. The Bronx, NY.

What is unique about you and your music?

I have a different approach to music.

I have an old soul, so I respect the legends. I’m different because I can put my generation up on the classic with a new young twist to it. So I don’t have to stray away from my sound to be appealing to the youth.

What shaped your music?

The albums I came up listening to. The music that was played as I was coming up.

When did you realize you were going to make music professionally?

I realized when I told my family. This is why I want to do for life. That was around 8th grade. I won’t feel like a professional until I get paid for it though.

What type of music do you listen to?

I listen to all types of music. Mainly hip hop. I’m heavy on the rock music too when I want to be.

Who, to you, is the most undervalued music artist?

Not to toot my own horn but I feel as though I’m the most undervalued artist. I have seen so many of my ideas imitated. My concepts taken by bigger artist. I just don’t get the recognition bc I’m still on the come up. It’s like now a days you got to reach a million views to get props or something man.

Who would you collab with out of any Artist or Producer?

I would love to COLLAB with alchemist, Kanye west, havoc, 38 spesh, Freddie Gibbs, Lord apex, 50 cent, Jim Jones,

What ignites your writing & creative juices?

The mood of the room. If the mood isn’t right. Or the atmosphere isn’t right. I can’t make nothing creative. A slight quietness mixed with herb, rap music, a DURAG, some posters, and beats.

What do you do when you don’t do music (creative or otherwise) and that you are passionate about?

I’m passionate about family & loyalty. The biggest misconception about me is that I’m aloof. I’m really not I just take time to reflect because life is very short. Alone time requires peace & self reflection.

If you weren’t making music professionally, what would you be doing?

I’d most likely be into real estate.

Success to you is…

Success to me is not having to ask anybody for nothing. When you pay your own bills. Take care of your family. Can afford to take a trip if you want to because of hard work. Success to me never ends. It all about where one person sees theirselves in the world.

What do you wish you were told when you first started making music that you think would help an artist starting out?

Mix and master your music. I fully believe I’d be farther in music if I knew that earlier. Good quality music makes the song have replay effect. Your deep fans might not care but the masses do. You have to keep your original style over a nice mix and master. I’m telling you it doesn’t have to be the cleanest master ever. Try not to distort your sounds too much. Keep it clean & don’t curse on your records, only freestyles. Not cursing allows you to gain commercial deals. That’s a lil gem for y’all!

Any upcoming projects or tracks you are apart of?
